Our Women’s Ministry, Women of Hope, shares the core values of the church as a whole — at the heart of each is community. Whether it’s weekday playgroups, a weekly women’s Bible study, monthly ladies’ night out, or an annual women’s retreat, Women of Hope is consistently gathering together for fellowship and mutual encouragement,“spurring one another one toward love and good deeds” [Hebrews 10:24]. As we encourage one another, we also seek to serve, whether it be the stork ministry that provides meals for new Moms or service in the greater community in which we live—supporting families at the Hannah Moore Shelter and the Community Crisis Center.
Each Tuesday, Women of Hope meets from 9:15-11:15am for Worship and Bible Study. During the school year we meet at the church. In the summer, we meet in someone’s home and enjoy an afternoon of fellowship and swimming following the study. A children’s ministry is available for those women bringing children. We also have supervised homeschool study hall during the school year. For a registration form or for more information, contact BJ Hall at belindajanehall@gmail.com.
Each year as a group, we join New Hope’s founding church, Grace Fellowship Church, for their Women's Getaway—a weekend retreat in Gettysburg, PA in February. For more information and to receive a registration form when they become available, contact Mary Poling at mpolingoboe@gmail.com.
We have a community of stay-at-home Moms who gather for playgroups, meeting in homes during the week in Reisterstown and Pikesville. Park days, field trips, and special events are also scheduled throughout the year. For more specific information on days and locations, contact Robin Nguyen at nrnguyen@yahoo.com.
On the last Thursday of each month, Women of Hope and their friends gather for an evening out, usually meeting at a local restaurant for dinner and/or dessert. For more information or to be added to the e-mail list, contact Melissa Reynolds at mpetakreynolds@gmail.com.
